3' x 2' ($30.69) suits wall displays, indoor poles, desks with hand-held poles and fan sections. 5' x 3' ($76.73) is the standard size for most residential and commercial flagpoles. 6' x 4' ($122.76) is best on taller commercial poles where the flag must be seen from a distance. Need a different size? Contact us and we will quote a custom size.

Pole flags are sold as the printed flag only; use your existing flagpole or mounting hardware.

How the pole flag is printed

We print your design with dye sublimation, which bonds the ink into the polyester so the color won't crack or peel. The fabric lets the print show through to the back, so the reverse displays a mirror image — the standard approach for printed flags, keeping them light enough to fly in a gentle breeze.

Care, storage and getting the longest life

Take the pole flag down in very strong wind or storms, and let it dry fully before storage to avoid mildew. The fabric can be hand washed in cold water with mild detergent and air dried. Rotating two flags on long outdoor campaigns, or bringing them in overnight, greatly extends their life. Store the hardware in a carry bag so poles stay straight and connectors stay clean.

Design tips for a pole flag that people actually read

Pole flags are seen at a distance and often while they are moving, so simple, bold designs work best. Center your logo or crest, use a solid background color, and avoid fine text near the edges. Leave the hoist side next to the grommet strip clear of important details.

If your flag replaces an existing one, measure the old flag and check your pole height — as a rule of thumb, the flag length should be about a quarter to a third of the pole height. A 5' x 3' flag suits most 15–20 ft poles, while a 6' x 4' flag suits taller commercial poles.
